St. Florian Ministries -- St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry
Worship Service Education Organizations

St. Vincent de Paul Food (SVDP) Pantry at St. Florian feeds approximately 100 families or 400 hundred people each month, which includes a lot of children. Our donations of food, the poor boxes in church, and food from the Food Depository help feed those less fortunate than us.

Still, there are some things that SVDP must purchase each month because they are not available from the Food Depository. Items such as soap, toilet paper, diapers, and even such food items as peanut butter and jelly!

In keeping with our Baptismal call to help the needy. St. Florian School will be collecting some of the items SVDP must buy. We will be collecting a different item each month. By your contribution you "Help Us Help Others"

October	Peanut butter and jelly
November	Annual Thanksgiving food drive
December	Tuna
January	Laundry soap, personal hygiene products, such as shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.
February	Paper products (toilet, facial tissue, paper towels) Disposable diapers, other similar items
March & April	National Contest*.

Help us Help Others

Jesus said:
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.'

Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?'

And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
