St. Florian's Catholic Vacation Bible School is divided into five sessions which will meet Monday Through Friday. During the sessions your children will be introduced to Bible stories, crafts, skits, games, songs and much more. The themes of all five sessions are described below. Classes are designed for chirldren, 5-10.

The 5 Day Schedule

Day 1
Discovering Treasure!

Bible Story: John 6:1–15, Jesus feeds 5000
Main Idea: Jesus is our greatest treasure.
Bible Memory Verse: In Jesus, “you have been enriched in every way.” 1 Corinthians 1:5

Day 2.
Showing Treasure!

Bible Story: Matthew 14:22–36 Jesus walks on water
Main Idea:
Jesus shows He is God’s treasured Son.
Bible Memory Verse:
God “is rich in mercy…by grace you have been saved.”
Ephesians 2:4–5

Day 3:
Knowing Treasure!

Bible Story: John 13:1–17, Jesus washes feet
Main Idea: Jesus became poor to make us rich.
Bible Memory Verse: “Know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

Day 4
Trusting Treasure!

Bible Story: John 21:1–19, The risen Jesus at the beach
Main Idea: Jesus paid a great price to forgive our sins.
Bible Memory Verse:“It was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed… but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” 1 Peter 1:18–19

Day 5
Sharing Treasure!

Bible Story: Acts 27:1–44, Paul’s shipwreck
Main Idea: Jesus treasures us.
Bible Memory Verse: “The LORD your God has chosen you…to be His people, His treasured possession.” Deuteronomy 7:6
